Why We Started Next Generation Pathways
Life doesn’t always give warning when it changes course. For many working families, one unexpected obstacle such as a medical bill, a car repair, a divorce, or a temporary job loss can quickly become a financial crisis that affects their children’s well-being. Having once navigated life as a single parent, I understand the challenges of facing difficult decisions with limited support. Now, with my children grown and the ability to give back, I am dedicated to helping the next generation overcome similar obstacles.
Next Generation Pathways was created to stand in that gap.
We exist because too many families are doing everything right from working hard to budgeting carefully and prioritizing their children and yet still find themselves overwhelmed when the unexpected happens. These moments can threaten a child’s access to extracurricular activities, educational opportunities, or basic needs that help them thrive.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to help working families provide for their children’s extra expenses when unforeseen challenges arise.
We believe that a temporary setback should not permanently impact a child’s growth, confidence, or opportunities. Whether it’s assistance with school programs, sports fees, prom, graduation, homecoming or other expenses, we aim to offer compassionate support when it is needed most.
This organization was founded on the belief that communities are strongest when families are supported and that children deserve stability, dignity, and hope, even during difficult times.
As we begin this journey, we invite you to be part of it. By supporting Next Generation Pathways, you are helping families regain their footing and ensuring children continue to have access to opportunities that shape their futures.
Thank you for believing in our mission. Together, we can turn unexpected obstacles into moments of resilience and hope.
